Easter, Earth Day and Quiet Thanks

Hello One and All!

It has been quite a long time since I have communed with all of you. I do hope that you are well and feeling creative in whatever endeavour is occupying your life and time. I am going to write a short paragraph about this Easter and the vanishing frontier of silence and solitude. Also, I will add that it is quite significant that Earth Day fell on Good Friday and that such holy times coincide with " pagan" belief and ritual. Perhaps suggesting that Earth must not be forgotten and that its' lesson of rebirth and transformation is always present and to be revered. Our thoughts, prayers or quiet musings should include the miracles we are witness to each day and night and the well-being of all kingdoms-animal, vegetal, mineral and heavenly should be held closely to our hearts.

Finally, a word about quiet. What the shops and technologies would have us believe in terms of needs and wants should be discarded. Our power to take time off is ours and can never be taken away. Please go listen to rushing water, bird song (even if they are squabbling for territory or a mate ), swaying weeds and grasses or nothing...This is our true temple to worship in and to be grateful for and deep thought must be given to what this Earth endures each day and what she gives us nevertheless.

Blessings to all.
